As such, False Swipe (a weak Normal-type attack that will always leave the opponent with at least one HP), can be an invaluable tool. Clicking scald has basically zero drawbacks because no matter what the opponent does, they're getting crippled. Immune to all status conditions in sun if it has Leaf Guard. If you switch to a non-fire type, you're crippled with a burn.
